Beautifying the Fox Creek/Alter Road berm
Creekside planted over 150 trees along the Fox Creek/Alter Road trail, replacing plants that were removed during a recent seawall replacement project (2003–2006). There are more on there way. See Activities Page for more info.

Supporting the new Conner Creek Greenway
Creekside works other members of the Detroit East Community Collaborative to publicize and to build the Conner Creek Greenway, a bicycle, pedestrian and exercise trail along the historic route of Conner Creek (now Conner Road) from Eight Mile Road to the Detroit River at Maheras-Gentry Park (2004-2006).
