Cleaning up Fox Creek Canals
Creekside successfully challenged renewal of a State permit that allowed the discharge of raw sewage into the Fox Creek and Detroit River--as well as into residential yards and basements. Creekside also assisted property owners along Fox Creek canal when they initiated a Class Action lawsuit that helped end sewage overflows into Fox Creek (1995–1999).
