Tree Planting on Dickerson
On May 31st Creekside partnered with The Greening of Detroit to "bring
green back" to Dickerson St. 100 volunteers planted 75 trees to
replace the ash trees lost to the emerald ash borer. The day also
featured an appearance by State Representative Bettie C. Scott.
Creekside Community and Membership Meeting
Creekside June community meeting focused water safety and summer activities
for children. The meeting featured guest speaker Officer Torrell from
the U.S. Coast Guard, a wonderful performance by the Stark School of
Technology, a visit by police from the Eastern District's Community Relations
Staff.
